The Writing Center Fall 2020 Hours of Operation

Please note our abbreviated hours for Finals Week:

Sunday, December 6 | 5 p.m. until 9 p.m.

Monday, December 7 | 9 a.m. until 9 p.m.

Tuesday, December 8 | 9 a.m. until 9 p.m.

Wednesday, December 9 | 9 a.m. until 5 p.m.

Thursday, December 10 | 9 a.m. until 12 p.m.

Friday, November 27 | CLOSED

Writing Center appointments are online for the fall sememster. Click on the Online Tutoring tab under Our Services for information about how to schedule an online appointment. Our fall hours of operation are as follows:

September 1 - December 10:

Sundays | 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Mondays | 9 a.m to 9 p.m.

Tuesdays | 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Wednesdays | 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Thursdays | 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Fridays | 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Scrappy The Eagle helps out in the Writing LabAt the UNT Writing Center, we offer free writing tutoring to all currently enrolled UNT students in all disciplines and at all stages of their academic careers--from English composition students to graduate students writing theses and dissertations. We do more than merely proofread; we teach you strategies and techniques to improve your writing for the long term.

We offer the following:

  • Undergraduate students receive one hour, daily, of one-on-one tutoring using our online tutoring services
  • Graduate students receive 1 hour of online tutoring using our graduate tutoring service. Contact GradWriting@unt.edu to schedule an online appointment.

You may have up to one hour of tutoring per day.
